We recently had permanent exterior lights installed on our home by Tidewater Lights and are very happy with the finished result.After the initial installation, we noticed that the individual lights were clearly visible along the horizontal portions of our roofline, but because of the depth and design of the overhangs on our gables, the lights there were hidden from view. The reflected light on the house was actually beautiful, and if the entire roofline had had that same effect, we would have been happy to leave it that way. The problem was the inconsistency — you could see the individual lights on the horizontal sections, but only the reflected glow on the gables. It was especially noticeable with the moving or running patterns.We contacted our sales rep, Brian Hall, on Monday and explained our concern. He asked us to send him some pictures and let us know that someone from operations would be reaching out later in the week. By Friday, Gary and another member of the crew were at our house. They moved the lights on the gables farther back under the soffit, and that completely solved the problem. The individual lights are now visible all the way around the roofline, and the finished result looks great.We were very happy with the customer service throughout the entire process. Brian was great to work with, and we really appreciated how quickly our concern was addressed and that Gary personally came out to make the adjustment. They listened to what we were trying to achieve and made sure we were happy with the finished product. We would definitely recommend Tidewater Lights.

Professionally installed permanent lights, having them come back to do more. The Bosso app is a pain however they don't control it, they will help set you up and get straight. Install was clean, team works really hard to get you squared away. Minor installation concerns, as lights aren't working as intended, but the team works hard to get things square.

I’ve been exploring companies to do a permanent lighting install in order to accent light the home and celebrate the holidays to avoid the cumbersome task of putting up and taking down Christmas lights every year. I settled with Tidewater Lighting and had them come out for a free estimate. I was sold from the time Deonte Griffin showed up for the estimate and deposit portion of the process. This is a highly dedicated team that has earned a great reputation, and for good reason - they’re using the latest top-shelf smart-technology, They are incredibly responsive to customer needs. They’re intelligent, polite, great sense of humor, and above all else - highly professional. We had them out last December, a few days before Christmas, and WOW - our home was READY for the holidays with the incredible lighting effects. We’ve had several people inquire who we used (I kept Gary’s business Card and let people snap pictures of it , and our house). It wasn’t long before the team came out and installed additional lighting on either side of the house (now it looks completely done!). Our neighbors on both sides have small children so we don’t keep them on late.Let me just say this - I spent weeks (even months) researching all the different light systems (companies that sell and install them and also kits you can buy and install yourself). This is by far the best route you can go - quality, ease of use, technical support, incredibly-long warranty, pre-programmed lighting patterns, curb-appeal - it’s the whole package. Their sales representative, Brian, came to our house and showed us a sample of the high quality product that would be installed, how it would be installed, where it would be installed, and finally a breakdown of the cost. The installers did a great job. All lights installed securely. There are no visible wires. The lights illuminate in the proper sequence. Operation of the phone app that controls the lights was fully explained to me. The lights are everything I expected. They look beautiful. There are over 200 preset lighting scenarios and the ability to custom design your own scenario. I would certainly recommend Tidewater Lights for permanent home lighting based on product quality, quality of the installation, cost, and that everybody I dealt with, from the office to the field, was very professional. His way was the best, you can see the texture of the bricks and the light reflecting from the porch, lights up the walk way and steps. The lights used were 9 ( 4 watt lamps & 7 (1watt lamps). Total light power is just 43 watts. One porch lamp is 60 watts WOW. I really love the results. I highly recommend Tidewater Lights to anyone looking for something special in the way to beautify your home’s curb appeal. Look at the before and after photos, amazing.
